Safe Food Canadian Regulations PCP Development

Safe Food Canadian Regulations came into force on Jan 15, 2019. Most of other food products that are exporting or send products inter-provincially or requiring export certificate would need to comply with the regulations by July 15, 2019. Specifically, the food manufacturer/ importer/ distributor must have evaluated the food safety risk and conduct hazard analysis for the food products and indicate preventative control strategies to mitigate the identified hazards as necessary. This preventative control plan needs to be properly documented.

In addition, the regulation also request for documented customer protection plan and traceability program (One step forward and one step backward).

We offer customized SFCR preventative plan development to comply with the regulatory expectation.
